In-ear monitors (IEMs) are devices used by musiciansaudio engineers, and audiophiles to listen to music or to hear a personal mix of vocals and stage instrumentation for live performance or recording studio mixing. They are also used by television presenters in order to receive vocal instructions, info, and breaking news announcements from a producer that only the presenter hears. Video Production

1. Tiktok

On 9 November 2017, TikTok's parent company, ByteDance, spent up to U.S.$1 billion to purchase musical.ly, a startup headquartered in Shanghai with an overseas office in Santa Monica, California, U.S. Musical.ly was a social media video platform that allowed users to create short lip-sync and comedy videos, initially released in August 2014. It was well known, especially to the younger audience. Looking forward to leveraging the U.S. digital platform's young user base, TikTok merged with musical.ly on 2 August 2018 to create a larger video community, with existing accounts and data consolidated into one app, keeping the title TikTok. This ended musical.ly and made TikTok a worldwide app, excluding China, since China already has Douyin.

Photography

1. Film Camera
Yes, the film photography craze has returned. No, we're not talking about DSLRs and other high-end gear; we're talking vintage. Disposable cameras, point-and-shoot cameras, Pentax cameras, you name it. But, despite today's technological advancements, why is it reappearing? I mean, why would you want to go back?

People are laying down their cellphones or DSLR cameras in favor of shooting the old-fashioned approach because the Gen-Z kids are frustrated of how accessible a flawless photo may be.

2. Instagram

Instagram is a free, online photo-sharing application and social network platform that was acquired by Facebook in 2012.

Instagram allows users to edit and upload photos and short videos through a mobile app. Users can add a caption to each of their posts and use hashtags and location-based geotags to index these posts and make them searchable by other users within the app. Each post by a user appears on their followers' Instagram feeds and can also be viewed by the public when tagged using hashtags or geotags. Users also have the option of making their profile private so that only their followers can view their posts.

3. Adobe Lightroom
For quite some time, photographers only had a handful of options when it came to photo editing.

For years, Photoshop was the dominant editing software on the market. But having so many features had its disadvantages. It was challenging to learn because it had options that most photographers don’t use.

Not all photographers need to edit their pictures extensively. Most of them just need simple exposure adjustments and colour management. That’s where Lightroom comes in. It streamlines the editing process and has a user-friendly interface.

A content management system is basically a tool that makes it easy to manage important aspects of your website – like content – without needing to know anything about programming.
